Cathedral Institute For Sacred Arts (CISA)

Saints Simon and Jude, the Cathedral of Phoenix, is establishing the Cathedral Institute for Sacred Arts (CISA).  The institute is an outreach to encourage, advance, promote and produce sacred art in visual, musical and theatrical forms, for the Diocese of Phoenix in general and Ss. Simon and Jude Cathedral in particular.  concerts, theatrical productions, and exhibits, as well as educational workshops, will be among the programs presented.  These programs are part of the Cathedral's effort to provide opportunities for people to experience sacred art from a cultural and spiritual perspective.

As a Cathedral entity, the institute and its programs will be administered by Cathedral staff, Mr. Garold Whisler, Director of Music at Ss. Simon and Jude Cathedral.  However, talent will be drawn from across the diocese and state-wide, rather than from the Cathedral Parish alone.
