Confirmation – imparts the Gifts of the Holy Spirit on the baptized so as to live Christian witness in the life of the world.  The Bishop himself is the ordinary minister of Confirmation or those priests whom he has designated to confer the sacrament.  The celebration of this sacrament is ordinarily combined with the celebration of First Holy Communion.  Registered parishioners at the Cathedral must have been registered and active in the life of the parish for a minimum of six months prior to seeking enrollment in sacramental preparation programs.
