Thank you for your service in an apostolate at SS. Simon and Jude Cathedral! Thank you for taking the time to educate yourself on the many ways we can work together to keep all our children and vulnerable parishioners safe.
It is the responsibility of everyone — clergy, administrators, teachers, staff, as well as all of our committed volunteers — to help create a safe environment for all of our children and vulnerable parishioners. As part of that commitment, we are all asked to complete Safe Environment Training once each year (July 1—June 30).
It’s that time of the year to renew your Safe Environment training!
No matter when you took your foundation class or your renewal training last year, all trainings and certifications expire on July 1st each year. This means your Safe Environment Certification is expired until you take the online renewal class. The training is online and takes less than 30 minutes to complete. You will need the username and password that you created last year to log into the CMG website.
The renewal training video this year is, “Safe Haven - Part 3” and gives great information on healthy boundaries. Your renewal training consists of watching the video and then reviewing and electronically signing our Diocesan safe environment guidelines, policies, and reporting instructions. Once you finish the website will automatically indicate that your training is complete.
If you would like to volunteer, please have your
Safe Environment Training finished by September 1st!
